A piece of Carmen in my art

Sometimes in life you meet someone who touches you so deeply that it leaves a lasting impression. For me, that was my dear friend Carmen, whom I've been missing for four years.

From her I learned the words that have had lasting meaning for me ever since:

“On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.”

- The Little Prince -

These words from The Little Prince remind us that the things that truly matter—love, connection, memories—are neither visible nor tangible. You don't see them with your eyes, but you feel them with your heart. It's a gentle, timeless truth that will always stay with me, thanks to Carmen.

Carmen was a tremendously warm person. Someone who never put herself first, but was always there for others. She had a big heart, a sensitive nature, and a creative soul. Everything she created carried her loving care.

Carmen and I shared a common vision: to create beautiful things and bring beauty back into the world. As highly sensitive people, we often felt the harshness of the world painfully, and sometimes it was difficult to find a good way through it. That's precisely why we sought softness and meaning in what we created. For me, this continues today as a search for the best path for myself.

Her family was her pride and joy, her Weimaraners a source of love. And France… that was her second home, where she always found peace and tranquility.

Today, September 22nd, I celebrate her birthday, and I especially remember who she was: warm, creative, loving, and so connected to the people and things she held dear. Life sometimes felt too hard for her, but in my memory, she lives on in gentleness and love.

I'm sure Carmen would be proud of what I'm creating now with Colored Angels Art. In everything I do, I wonder what Carmen would think. Subconsciously, I still share my steps with her, and that gives me the feeling that she stays close.
